Byung Ug Choi is a Managing Director in the Investor Relations & Business Development Group. He is based in Hong Kong. Since joining Blackstone in 2008, Mr. Choi has been involved with marketing for various Blackstone fund products, primarily with respect to Korea. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Choi was a Director with Citigroup Global Markets Asia focusing on marketing and structuring CDO products. Previously, he worked as a portfolio manager at Samsung Fire & Marine and Samsung ITMC. He also worked for Hyundai Motor Company as an export sale manager for the Middle East region. Mr. Choi received an M.I.M. from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a B.A. in Law from Korea University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
